Terms of Use

Important: Please read these Terms before using PixRinse. By downloading, installing or using the app or website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

1. About these Terms

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Thinksview (“Thinksview”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) covering your use of the PixRinse macOS application and the PixRinse website at PixRinse.com (together, the “Services”). “You” means the person or organization using the Services.

2. License

Subject to these Terms and any applicable App Store terms, Thinksview grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use PixRinse on Apple devices that you own or control for your personal or internal business purposes.

The PixRinse name, icon, website design, software, documentation and other materials are owned by Thinksview or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Except for the license above, no rights are granted.

3. Your files and responsibility

You retain ownership of the images and other files you process. You are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed to access, modify, export or replace those files. You are also responsible for reviewing settings and outputs before using them in production, publishing them or replacing originals.

4. Backups and replacement

PixRinse is designed to preview work, create backups and validate outputs before replacement. These features reduce risk but cannot protect against every hardware failure, file-system issue, user choice or unforeseen event. You should maintain independent backups of important files. Do not treat PixRinse as your only backup system.

5. Acceptable use

You may not use the Services to violate law or third-party rights; reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to extract source code except where applicable law permits; bypass licensing or security controls; interfere with the Services; or distribute malware or harmful content.

6. Updates and availability

We may change, improve, suspend or discontinue all or part of the Services. The app may require updates for compatibility, security or new features. We do not guarantee that the Services will always be available, error-free or compatible with every file, codec, macOS configuration or future operating system.

7. Third-party components and services

PixRinse may include open-source components subject to their own licenses. Relevant notices are included with the app or published in the project materials. Optional feedback and support may use third-party infrastructure and are subject to its availability and terms.

8. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Services are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement or uninterrupted operation. We do not promise that compression will produce a particular file size or that output will meet a particular platform requirement.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Thinksview and its suppliers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages, or for loss of data, revenue, profits or business, arising from or related to the Services. Where liability cannot be excluded, it will be limited to the amount you paid for PixRinse in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or the minimum amount required by applicable law.

10. Termination

You may stop using PixRinse at any time by uninstalling it. We may terminate or suspend your license if you materially breach these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply, including ownership, disclaimers, limitations and dispute-related provisions.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms when the Services or applicable law changes. We will post the updated version here and revise the effective date. Your continued use after an update means you accept the updated Terms to the extent permitted by law.
